    Description:

Founded in 2009, Berkeley Ventures is an accelerator focused on helping startups in sectors including, but not limited to, internet, software, mobile, clean energy, and gaming. Berkeley offers access to mentors and advisors, introductions to investors, incubator space, connections to local talent/resources, and a year round program to help these companies grow. Berkeley Ventures has 8,400 sq ft of space in Berkeley, California and offers an initial period of free rent, with a month to month lease thereafter. Firms receive private office space, access to printers, copy, fax, and other administrative services. The facility has multiple conference rooms for quiet meetings, confidential calls, and collaborative work. Berkeley Ventures helps tenants with incorporation, operating agreements, and other legal work that might be necessary in launching. Berkeley Ventures will receive an equity stake ranging from 3% to 9%, and provides additional Seed capital for select companies.
