    Bridgescale Partners is a Menlo Park-based venture capital firm providing expansion capital to U.S.-based later-stage technology companies. The firm has invested in more than 100 private companies of which 25 achieved an IPO and more than 50 exited through an M&A. This list includes category leaders such as Atheros, CNET, FormFactor, Geocities, ONI Systems, Pivotal Technologies, Quantum Effects Design, SupportSoft and Sycamore Networks. The firm is active across a broad range of information technology, media and communication sectors based on the core investment themes for growth: Broadband enabled services, Digital Media Convergence, Software as a Service, Communication Infrastructure, Mobility and Clean Energy. In addition, Bridgescale has advised on more than 35 M&A and financing transactions representing more than $25 billion in transaction value. Bridgescale's strategy is to invest $3 million to $8 million into category leading mid to late stage companies in what is generally their final round before achieving profitability.
