First Capital Partners, LLC is a direct investor of mezzanine capital and private equity in successful privately owned businesses in the middle market. Since its founding, it has managed two investments funds with capital in excess of $100 million. The firm's members have backgrounds in private equity, mezzanine capital, leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and corporate development. The firm partners with business owners, management and other private investors to provide capital for: mergers or acquisitions, management buyouts, generational transfers of business ownership, redemption of minority shareholder interests, recapitalizations or refinancing of existing debt, and growth into new products or markets. First Capital will invest either on a mezzanine capital only basis or with a combination of mezzanine and equity capital. The firm has the flexibility to make minority equity investments or, where appropriate, acquire a majority ownership of a business. First Capital seeks successful companies in manufacturing, business outsourcing, value-added distribution, service businesses with long-term customers, or food & agribusiness with revenues of $10 million to $100 million and EBITDA from $2 million to $10 million. First Capital invests $2 million to $8 million per investment primarily on companies in the central U.S., but will consider opportunities outside this region. FCP arranges for investment partners to address capital needs of up to $20 million. The investment team has more than 140 years of combined experience in lending, private equity investing and executive management.
