Founders Equity has approximately $160 million of capital under management and focuses on companies primarily located east of the Rockies. The firm invests up to $10 million per transaction and up to $20 million per transaction with co-investors in the following targeted industries: business and marketing services, health care services, financial services, outsourcing and logistics, environmental services, consumer products and services, value-added distribution services, asset-light manufacturing, and oilfield services. The firm looks for companies with $2 to $15 million of operating profit (EBITDA) and revenues between $20 and $150 million. Founders Equity aims to be the lead sponsor in at least 70% of its investments and seeks significant majority to minority control in investments.
