    Description:

The Frankel Commercialization Fund (FCF) is a pre-seed investment fund established to identify and accelerate the commercialization of ideas generated within the University community and the surrounding area. The team adopts a hands-on approach to investing that leverages the talents and resources available at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. The Frankel Fellows, the core team of Ross MBA students selected for their experience in healthcare and technology industries, looks for entrepreneurs seeking pre-seed funds for business plans. The Fund targets companies that support products or technologies that are advanced, proprietary, scalable, and benefit from a sustainable competitive advantage. The Frankel Fellows are organized into four investment teams, one specializing in health care, information technologies, consumer, and clean tech investments. The fund may invest up to $100,000 in funding per team.
