    Description:

GoodCap's mission is to accelerate the flow of capital to enterprises that create innovative, market-based solutions to inequality, poverty, and other social problems and in doing so amplify their total impact. GoodCap's Social Enterprise Expansion Fund (SEEF) provides growth capital to social enterprises that create innovative and self-sustaining solutions to the root causes of inequity in the U.S. and around the world. These enterprises leverage the power of the market to create positive social change, such as providing job opportunities for at-risk youth, helping developing world farmers become self sufficient, improving access to healthcare for low-income families, and supporting literacy and education efforts across the globe. The firm makes later stage equity and equity-like investments ranging in size from $1-2 million in for profit and nonprofit organizations that meet its investment criteria. GoodCap is open to investments across a variety of different sectors in companies that can build scalable business models and create sustainable social impact. An ideal prospective company would have $0.5m+ in annualized revenue recognition, successful proof of concept, and 2yrs+ operating history.
