The firm's mezzanine capital group typically provides $3 million to $15 million in subordinated debt to companies in need of capital for organic growth, acquisitions, recapitalizations, or management buyouts. Harbert Private Equity provides equity capital to lower middle-market companies in a variety of industries. Harbert Private Equity has raised over $247 million in committed capital and has made 19 platform investments and 21 add-on acquisitions. HMC's investment teams are located in Birmingham, Alabama; New York, New York; Nashville, Tennessee; Richmond, Virginia; Atlanta, Georgia; San Francisco, California; London, United Kingdom; Madrid, Spain; Melbourne, Australia and Paris, France.
