LearnLaunchX is an education technology and learning-focused accelerator. The first LearnLaunch accelerator session began in June 2013 and provided selected start-ups with early seed funding, deep domain insight, direct access to learning marketplace leaders and channels, and mentoring by experts in ed tech, learning markets and start-up investment (over 175 mentors in network). LearnLaunchX will provide seed funding of up to $120k, free office space, and access to classes, events, and thought leadership provided by LearnLaunch & The Capital Network. The accelerator has two programs: The BOOST program and the BREAKTHROUGH program. The BOOST program is a three-month residential program designed to help early stage entrepreneurs successfully grow their startups. This program targets 6-10 early stage companies, providing up to $70k ($20k investment for 6% at start of program and an additional $50k Convertible note if milestones are hit). The BREAKTHROUGH Program is a four-week boot camp, designed to help edtech companies that are beyond seed stage. This program targets 4-6 post seed stage/pre series A companies, providing up to $120k ($50k Convertible note at start of program and an additional $70k Convertible note if milestones are hit.)
