Lombard is an international private equity investment manager with offices in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok. Formed in 1985, Lombard has invested in more than 80 companies in North America and Asia. Lombard invests private equity capital in competitive enterprises needing financing for expansion or to complete financial restructuring. Since 1996, Lombard has helped build dynamic Asian businesses from early stage ventures through expansion, growth and IPO, and also backs financial restructuring and management buyins. Typically, investment amounts range from $10-$50 million per transaction, although Lombard may also make larger investments through consortium arrangements. Lombard is looking for companies headquartered in Southeast Asia or Greater China with equity capital up to $50 million. Lombard will not invest in untried technologies or companies involved in alcohol, armaments, tobacco, or gambling businesses.
