Metapoint Partners is a private investment group that acquires and grows small to medium-sized manufacturing companies. Founded in 1988, the firm is currently investing through Metapoint Industries, LLC, which represents the capital of the principals of Metapoint Partners as well as its management partners. Metapoint Industries' objective is to acquire manufacturing companies and significantly enhance their value. Since their founding, they have completed a total of 30 acquisitions. The firm seeks companies with products that are industrial or commercial (sold to a business), require low to medium technology, and have $8-20 million in revenues. Companies in New England are preferred, while Midwest and Mid-Atlantic companies will be considered if there is a strong fit with the firm's other criteria. Metapoint Partners is currently managing its fourth committed equity fund.
