NewWorld Capital Group invests in the rapidly-growing environmental opportunities sector, principally in North America, which spans clean energy, energy efficiency, environmental services, waste management, water, and materials. Formed in 2009, the firm invests in middle-market companies and related infrastructure projects in the clean energy, energy efficiency, environmental services, waste management, water and materials sectors, principally in North America and selectively in Europe. NewWorld provides expansion capital to growing companies, development capital to infrastructure project developers, and project capital to production-scale plants with no technology risk, low commodity price risk, and long-term revenue contracts. The firm's founding investors include institutions and individuals with experience in the environmental opportunities sector, including Ambienta Sgr., the largest European Private Equity Firm in this sector. To date, NewWorld has made 10 investments (29 projects) and 6 realizations. Investments are in the $10 to $50 million range.
