Ridgewood Capital is part of the Ridgewood Companies, a private equity firm with over 27 years of experience in the oil & gas, energy technologies and renewable power industries. Ridgewood typically acts as a lead investor, initially investing between $2 and $5 million. Funds are also set aside to invest in a company's follow-on rounds of financing. Ridgewood invests when a company has completed their R&D and can quickly grow to over $50 million in revenue.
