    Description:

    Founded in 1995, Ripplewood Holdings is a private equity firm that focuses on late ventures, growth capital, acquisitions, buyouts, management buy-ins, recapitalizations, turnarounds, and consolidations investments. Ripplewood manages more than $10 billion in capital in four institutional private equity funds: Ripplewood Partners, L.P., Ripplewood Partners II, L.P., RHJ Industrial Partners, LP and New LTCB Partners C.V. The firm seeks to invest a minimum of $50 million per transaction in its portfolio companies. Ripplewood typically invests in the automotive, manufacturing, financial services, entertainment, and technology sectors. Ripplewood has invested in nearly a dozen industry groups and in companies with more than $20 billion of revenue. The company spun off its Japanese holdings, including Asahi Tec, Columbia Music Entertainment, and Shaklee Global Group, onto Brussels' Euronext Exchange as RHJ International in 2005.
