Founded in 1999, Robin Hood Ventures is a group of experienced angel investors interested in investing and taking an active role in early stage companies with high return on investment potential. The group consists of Greater Philadelphia Region entrepreneurs/investors who have joined together to fund and aid the development of local companies through their collective business experience and contacts. Skill sets include depth in all functional areas, including general management, marketing, sales, product development, communications, and finance. The group can invest $250K to $1 million for a single financing, and will co-invest with other angels or institutions. Since 1999, the group has invested over $14M in over 45 companies in industries including software, medical devices, biotech, internet and financial technology. Robin Hood targets businesses that require funding of $750K to $1.5MM to reach the next level, of which the firm will invest $250,000 to $500,000.
