    Description:

Saratoga Partners is an independent, New York based investment firm making private equity investments in partnership with management, in the media and telecommunications, business services and manufacturing industries. Saratoga Partners, founded in 1984 as the corporate buyout group of Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., has led buyout investments in 33 companies with an aggregate acquisition value in excess of $3.7 billion across economic, market and interest rate cycles. Saratoga Partners has managed partnerships with more than $750 million in committed and invested capital pursuing private equity investments in enterprises valued between $50 and $500 million. In 1998, Saratoga Partners spun out as an independent entity owned by its management following the acquisition of Dillon Read by Swiss Bank Corporation (a predecessor to UBS AG). Saratoga transactions generally involve 25% or more equity in the capital structure, with certain investments initially involving as much as 100% equity capitalization. Another division, Saratoga Investment Corp., manages both an SBIC-licensed subsidiary and a $400 million Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) fund. These diverse funding sources, combined with a permanent capital base, enable Saratoga to offer a broad range of financing solutions, including subordinated debt, first and second lien loans, one-stop and unitranche structures and equity co-investments. Saratoga Investment Corp. seeks to partner with business owners (equity sponsors, fundless sponsors, family-owned businesses) and management teams and craft capital structures that enable them to pursue their business plans. Saratoga focuses on the lower end of the middle market, targeting US-based cash flow positive companies with annual revenues between $10 and $100 million and EBITDA in excess of $2 million.
