    Description:

SeaCap Ventures is a venture capital investment firm that focuses on equity investments in early, post-initial start-up or expansion stage business enterprises. SeaCap has offices in New York City and Philadelphia, and targets companies located in the Mid-Atlantic region. SeaCap invests in industries including, but not limited to, Internet technologies and services, information technology and telecommunications, and in other businesses leveraging their enterprise functions through the Internet. SeaCap will also consider investments in non-technology businesses that are well positioned for growth with a significant market opportunity. SeaCap does not consider investments in the life sciences sector. SeaCap prefers to act as a lead investor with an investment amount of $250,000 to $1,000,000, with a preferred initial investment amount of $500,000. Because the firm has the ability to leverage its sources to syndicate complete rounds of financings, preferably in rounds sized under $5,000,000, SeaCap generally participates in co-investment opportunities with other venture capital firms and considers investments being lead by other venture capital firms.
