    Description:

The Dixie Angels are a newly formed angel group in Southern Utah. The Dixie Angels, launched in January 2005, are federally incorporated as a non-profit organization. The SUDA is a member-led angel group dedicated to improving the investing experience of both the investor and the entrepreneur. The firm provides seed and early-stage capital in the range of $10,000 to $250,000. The group prefers deals that originate in Utah, Nevada or locales contiguous to southwest Utah. Members are entrepreneurs, CEO's, investment bankers, venture capitalists and business leaders who have funded and built world-class companies. SUDA mentors and coaches the entrepreneurs in whom it invests, serves on their boards, provides contacts, and assists with team building, strategic planning and fundraising. SUDA invests in solutions that address major problems for significantly large target markets (i.e. a $100+ million market). A company must demonstrate a strategy to claim significant share of this market (i.e. 20%+). Providing a solution to a problem with a large potential market is essential. SUDA looks for companies that can grow quickly and manage the scale necessary to succeed. Vision Ventures (see profile) has partnered with, and currently manages Southern Utah Dixie Angels.
