Start Co. was established by a group of Memphis area leaders to grow the city's entrepreneurial community. Through events designed to highlight Memphis' entrepreneurial activities, Start Co. hopes to welcome and nurture new technology startup businesses. Start Co. (501c3) supports the earliest stages of entrepreneurship in Memphis with dynamic programs that are designed to help potential entrepreneurs to take the first actionable steps of starting a new business. Additionally, Start Co. supplies ad hoc mentoring and a co-working space to lower the economic barrier of entry to incubation. For startups and businesses, Start Co. provides Memphis' only dynamic innovation economy programming to keep up-to-speed on the latest trends. The last 10 years of building have brought together 3 core enablers to build the future: the creation and launch of a 30 acre, digitally connected neighborhood for data sharing, technology development, and software advancements.
