    Description:

    T-Venture is the Venture Capital Company of Deutsche Telekom, and was founded in 1997. The headquarters is in Bonn, which is complemented by T-Venture of America, Inc. in San Francisco and Seattle. T-Mobile manages five separate venture funds tailored to specific goals. T-Mobile Venture Fund's mission is to advance T-Mobile's strategy of business cooperation between the portfolio companies and the operating arms of T-Mobile. The Connected Life and Work Fund invests in start-ups in the Internet and media environment. The T-Home Venture Fund invests in companies with innovative technologies, services and business models for IP networks and broadband applications. The T-Systems Venture fund invests in sustainable business models from innovative companies, which enable T-Systems to offer its national and international customers comprehensive, individually tailored, one-stop information and communication technology solutions. The T-Corporate Venture fund invests in business models with overall importance for the entire group and its business units. The funds will make an investment at a minimum of 0.5 million to a maximum of 5 million euros as a minority stake.The investment activities of the funds managed by T-Venture are based on three strategic business areas: Broadband/Fixed Network (Connected Life and Work Fund, T-Hom Venture Fund), Mobile Communications (T-Mobile Venture Fund) and Business Customers (T-Systems Venture Fund), and on the overall Group strategy (T-Corporate Venture Fund). Since its inception, T-Venture has invested in more than 190 companies.
