Founded in 2011, XLerate Health is an accelerator for early-stage, health-related companies. XLerateHealth will support two types of pre-venture-funded portfolio companies: affiliates, which have already made substantial progress in developing beta sites, strategic relationships; and startups. Those selected for the accelerator participate in a 10-week program and receive $20,000 in cash investment, donated services, and office space in XLerate Health's 3,500-square foot facility. In exchange for funding, support, and mentorship, XLerateHealth receives a 6% equity stake. If the $20,000 stipend is not required, XLerate Health takes a 2% equity stake. The leadership team engages with a network of 300+ healthcare domain experts across the U.S.
