Canary Ventures is the investment vehicle for Alex Goldberg. He focuses on seed-stage, B2B enterprise & infrastructure software start-ups, in New York City and Boston. His interests include: mobile infrastructure, big-data, crowd-sourcing, and gamification. Mr. Goldberg was an early employee at Art Technology Group, a product manager at Open Market, a product manager at Frictionless Commerce, and a member of the early team at startup Adjoin Solutions (acquired by Computer Associates). Alex is an active member of the New York Angels, a regular mentor to more than a dozen startup incubators in NYC, and is frequently a speaker & panelist at a range of industry events. He has served on the Advisory Board at the Nantucket Conference, the Young Professionals Board at Carnegie Hall, the founding board of the World Frontier Forum, and is a longtime active participant in the TED Conference community.
