The Catalyst Group was founded in 1990 to provide expansion capital to companies in a variety of mid-market industries. In the last 30+ years, Catalyst has managed nine separate investment funds with over 100 investments in 70+ industries. The firm targets investments of $2 million to $20 million funded as equity, mezzanine debt with warrants or a combination of the two. Catalyst seeks Middle-market companies with an enterprise value between $10 million and $100 million and an operating profit of at least $1 million. Catalyst prefers companies with experienced management teams that have been in operation at least three years and are headquartered in the United States.
