Fung Capital is the venture capital arm of Li & Fung Limited, a global consumer products sourcing company that is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and has over $21 billion in revenues. LFV invests $1M to $10M in early-stage companies and larger amounts in growth rounds, management buy-outs, or joint ventures. Usually lead sponsor of a transaction, Fung Captial also co-invests with other private equity firms in larger transactions, and can take either majority or minority investment stake. The firm's primary investment focus is in eCommerce service providers and eCommerce enabling technology companies that make online selling of consumer products more profitable and productive. The fund invests in technology companies that can improve efficiencies at all stages of the supply chain from product development, order processing, compliance, payment, logistics, warehouseing and delivery to the consumer. LFV partners with management of consumer product companies that have global brands, particularly companies benefiting from the worldwide sourcing network of Li & Fung (Trading), and products that can be distributed in Asia through the marketing and retailing expertise of Li & Fung Retailing.
