Gordon Brothers Finance Company (GBFC) is a commercial finance company that provides asset-based, cash flow and hybrid term loans to middle market companies by leveraging deep collateral knowledge to extend credit beyond traditional financing sources. Gordon Brothers Finance Company was launched in November 2014. In connection with its formation, Gordon Brothers Finance Company acquired the majority of the portfolio and team of GB Credit Partners, the investment management affiliate of Gordon Brothers Group. Gordon Brothers Finance Company originates, structures and invests in private market debt. The firm's structured debt investments come in the form of 1st and 2nd lien secured term loans, FILO (first in, last out), DIP financing, unitranche loans, hybrid/cash flow, and secondary loan/portfolio purchases with a minimum transaction size of $10 million. In addition, Gordon Brothers has the ability to underwrite transactions up to $150 million. Gordon Brothers Finance Company's mission is to provide loans to healthy and distressed middle market companies in North America and Europe with a heavy emphasis on asset-based term loans. Gordon Brothers has conducted over 2000 business valuations. $150 billion in assets have been sold.
