Gore Creek Asset Management is the family office of Christopher Galvin, Chairman and CEO of Motorola. He serves as Chairman of Gore Creek Asset Management as well as Chairman and Co-Founder of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, a real estate investment management firm he co-founded with Christopher Merrill. Additional roles are serving as either Chairman or Board Member of UniqueSoft LLC, VelociData, evolve24, and MCR-Aerodyne Inc. His current outside activities include: Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of Northwestern University's Board of Trustees; Executive Committee and member of Dean's Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. Gore Creek utilizes an endowment style strategy intended to preserve the real purchasing power of the portfolio. The firm's asset allocation strategy emphasizes alternative investments, including substantial allocations to hedge funds, private equity strategies and real assets. Harrison Street, a Chicago-based investment firm co-founded by Galvin in 2005, amassed a $14.6 billion portfolio encompassing student housing, senior housing, medical offices and self-storage. Harrison sold a significant portion of its equity in a $550 million deal with Colliers International Group.
