Formed in 1983, Knightsbridge is one of the pioneer funds of funds focusing on leading early stage venture partnerships. The firm has formed seventeen multi-investor vehicles with the goal of producing premium IRRs and multiples on invested capital. In 2008 Knightsbridge formed Knightsbridge Venture Capital VII with committed capital of $212.8 million, the seventh in its flagship series of early stage venture capital funds of funds. In addition to a traditional, early stage, venture fund of funds format investing in venture capital partnerships only, KVC funds offer an option that combines these same venture partnership investments with Knightsbridge's innovative, public equity-based Venture Exposure Management, or VXM, program. Knights-bridge typically invests between $10M and $20M per company. Knightsbridge has raised $2.8B since its founding and currently manages $1.2B. Knightsbridge also has an office in Cambridge, MA.
