What began in 1855 as a frontier logging operation in the Minnesota wilderness has evolved into one of the longest-standing family enterprises in the United States. Laird Norton Wealth Management, a Laird Norton Company investment, is a Seattle-based firm founded by clients for the benefit of clients. They remain independently operated and client-owned, growing into a major wealth management firm with nearly $5 billion in assets under management since 1967. Laird Norton Family Foundation, based in Seattle, WA, is a private foundation, created and governed by Laird Norton family members.
