Lightyear Capital is a private equity firm providing buyout and growth capital to companies in the financial services industry. Founded in 2000, Lightyear, through its affiliated funds, has managed approximately $2.5 billion of committed capital. Transaction strategies the firm employs include leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, restructurings and consolidations.
