Founded in 2012, Linkage Ventures is a for profit investment company that seeks to invest in early-stage businesses that provide products, services, and technology to older adults and their caregivers. The firm was created by Linkage, a nonprofit made up of 600 senior living communities in 39 states. In December 2012, Linkage Ventures announced a recent investment in the Alliance Healthcare Investment Fund broadening their investment scope to early-stage and growth-stage companies in the healthcare industry. Up to $5,000,000 of the fund will be devoted to early stage opportunities, generally in companies that have been associated with LeadingAge's CAST or the Innovator's Alliance.
