NEW Capital Fund, LP is a Little Chute, WI based private equity fund with nearly $10 million of committed capital. The Fund is interested in engaging qualified entrepreneurs who are developing promising, high-growth Wisconsin businesses, predominantly in the life sciences, information technology, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. On December 31, 2010 the Fund concluded its investment period and is no longer making investments in new portfolio companies. The Fund had invested in eleven start-up companies. One company has been acquired and the remaining ten companies are ongoing. Initial investments range from $500,000 to $1.5 million, with a maximum of $4.5 million per company. The Fund has relationships with co-investors which increases the potential for a total transaction to be $10 million.
