After completing 11 years as CEO of LinkedIn and stepping into the role of executive chairman, Jeff Weiner founded Next Play Ventures to focus more on investing, coaching, and philanthropy. He's joined by Brian Rumao, his chief of staff for the last six years. Investments include: Slack, Brex, Figma, Notion, Cloudera, Wildlife Studios, Vox Media, Headspace, Collective Health, Everfi, Cameo, Scoop, Little Passports, Seesaw, Cricket Health, Ginger, Before Brands/SpoonfulOne, Holberton School, LogicGate, Landscape Hub, Brilliant, Wellthy, CurlMix, Loris.ai, Jiobit, Truework, Fast, Evervault, Trala, The Browser Company, Esusu. Jeff is Founding Partner of Next Play Ventures and the executive chairman of LinkedIn. Prior to becoming executive chairman in June 2020, Jeff was the CEO of LinkedIn. During his 11-year tenure, LinkedIn grew its membership base from 33M to more than 690M, increased its revenue from $78M to over $7.9B. Jeff is also a founding LP and serves on the investment committee of Concrete Rose, an early stage investment fund investing in diverse founders, start-ups serving underserved communities and/or building diverse teams.
