Nyca Partners is a venture capital and advisory firm exclusively focused on applying innovation in financial services into the global financial system. The firm focuses primarily on earlier stage companies in the financial technology space covering payments, alternative credit and risk & infrastructure. Nyca was founded in 2014 and looks to invest between $10 million and $15 million in five to ten startups per year. In January 2017, Nyca announced the successful closing of its second venture capital fund with more than $125 million in total commitments. Nyca closed its $30 million first fund in July 2014.
