Founded 2012, Plus550 is an initiative launched by five Utah entrepreneurs, Rick Alden, Alan Hall, Josh James, Todd Pedersen, and Greg Warnock. The group's mission is to jump-start Angel-level investing in Utah and return power to the entrepreneurs who've made Utah one of the fastest growing high-tech startup regions in the country. Plus550 plans to invest between $25,000 to $100,000 in over 20 companies in 2013, and the group will work with co-investors to help provide additional capital as needed.
