Founded in 1994, RRE Ventures has raised $2 billion across nine total funds dedicated to rapidly growing early stage technology companies. Sectors in which RRE has prior experience include: Consumer & Digital Media, Mobility, Green Technology, Software & Services, Financial Technology, and Infrastructure. The firm actively invests in the New York Metro area as well as Silicon Valley and other major technology innovation centers across the U.S. Initial investment sizes typically range from $2 million to $5 million and up to a limit of $10 million to $15 million in a single company over its full lifetime. With its Seed Funding Investment Program, RRE is very interested in seeding early stage business. Its typical seed investments are around $250,000 or $3-8M into a Series A round and seeks to own 15-25% of the company. Since 1994, RRE Ventures has invested in 400 companies in 26 states. Companies have gone on to raise $6.2B in capital after RRE investment.
