Founded in 2007, TVC Capital is an operator-led growth equity firm focused on investments in and acquisitions of software companies and software-enabled service firms. TVC targets a wide spectrum of software sectors and industry verticals that are poised for growth and consolidation. The firm invests growth equity in minority interests as well as provide capital for recapitalizations and buyouts. TVC is currently investing out of a $150 million fund and has $235 million in assets under management. The fund seeks investment opportunities with North-American software companies generating revenues of at least $3 million. The TVC focus is on software and software enabled services firms in the development and expansion stage, levered buyout, recapitalization and restructuring stage. Special sectors of interest for TVC Ventures include: Financial Services, Predictive Analytics, Content/Data Management, Internet Pure Plays, Wireless, Security, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Digital Media. The fund invests in lower middle market software and software enabled service firms operating with proven technology and financial model and sustainable competitive advantage; realistic 3-5 year exit strategy; management team with domain expertise; a mid-sized expanding market; and a favorable competitive environment.
