Founded in 2014, VT Investor Network (VTIN) is a Virginia Tech alumni-led angel group formed to fund the next generation of Hokie-led technology companies. VTIN is 75+ member group dedicated to providing seed and early stage venture funding high potential startups across the country, with a starting focus on southwest Virginia and the National Capital Region. To qualify a company must have a founder, employee, board member, or active investor as an active undergraduate or graduate student, faculty member, or alumni of Virginia Tech. VTIN seeks seed and early-stage tech companies with the opportunity for explosive growth and makes investments between $250K and $2M.
