    Description:

    Wilshire is a non-discretionary advisor and discretionary manager of private equity primary partnerships, secondary partnership interests and co-investments with an exclusive focus on private equity. Formed in 1984, the WPM manages more than $6.5 billion in private equity partnership investments for institutional investors. Since 1997, WPM has raised and invested 14 discrete private equity funds of funds. There are more than 41 professional staff in the Private Markets Group and operations in five locations: Santa Monica (Western U.S.), Pittsburgh (Eastern U.S.), Amsterdam (Europe), and Canberra (Asia/Pacific South) and Tokyo (Asia/Pacific North). In the U.S., the WPM invests in buyouts and venture capital and, opportunistically, in mezzanine. Wilshire has committed capital on behalf of its clients to more than 350 primary partnerships, secondary partnership interests and co-investments, aggregating to more than 5,000 underlying portfolio companies.
