Wyoming Angels was started in 2007 by a group of investors in Southeast Wyoming and was supported by Venture West, and subsequently by Laramie Economic Development Corp. The member-led group is dedicated to improving the investing experience of both the investor and the entrepreneur. Wyoming Angels provides seed and early-stage capital, strategic advice, and mentoring to early-stage technology companies to help them achieve market leadership and operational stability. The group's mission is to help grow the economic base of the region through the rapid growth of technology companies, and provide members an outstanding financial return on their time commitment and invested capital. A typical angel group’s investment ranges widely from $50,000 to $500,000 per deal, depending on how many group members are interested in the deal.
