Founded in 1997, YAS Capital Partners is a boutique firm specializing in Consulting, Investment, and Research. Led by industry pioneer Rouzbeh Yassini, innovator, recipient of many awards for his work in broadband, and author of the book, Planet Broadband, YAS has led hundreds of strategic and tactical projects with large (billion dollar) and small (start-up) companies. YAS is particularly interested in Angel/Seed round financing in companies participating in the convergence of voice, data and video services to address emerging telecommunications markets. In the Spring of 2008, YAS opened the Yassini Broadband Knowledge Center in Boston, offering research grants and facilities. The Yassini Broadband Knowledge Center is a $10 million, state-of-the-art broadband research center. The Center is now part of the University of New Hampshire's Broadband Center of Excellence (UNH BCoE).
